A recent survey of over 70,000 members of BeautifulPeople.com found that Korean men and women are considered more beautiful than their Japanese neighbors. Korean inhabitants were also highly ranked, among the world's most beautiful people globally.

Greg Hodge, Managing Director of BeautifulPeople.com, says; "Korean men have an acceptance rate to BeautifulPeople.com of 18% compared to 15% for Japanese men. Korean women have an acceptance rate of 29% compared to 28% of Japanese women. The Korean people are known for their physical beauty. Korea also has the highest rate of plastic surgery in the world, which shows the younger Korean generation's obsession with beauty."

The aim of BeautifulPeople.com is to create a worldwide community for beautiful people only. Already, its member base of 600,000 worldwide can be compared with the books of the world's leading modeling agencies. Everyone is welcome to apply, yet with over 2.8 million applicants rejected since November last year, millions of men and women are turned away.

BeautifulPeople.com already features the largest network of attractive people in the world.

In January this year, 5,000 BeautifulPeople members were expelled from the site for putting on weight over the Christmas holiday period.

Founder of BeautifulPeople.com, Robert Hintze, says: "BeautifulPeople.com is governed by the universal principle that every human being wants to be with someone they find attractive. By only allowing beautiful people through the doors, we remove the first hurdle. Other sites are jungles of hippos and wart hogs. We are a game reserve of leopards and gazelles."

Potential members apply with a photo and a brief profile. Over 48 hours, existing members of the opposite sex vote whether or not to admit them in to their exclusive community. The voting system is democratic and the majority vote is final.

Members of BeautifulPeople.com enjoy a number of desirable benefits:

  • Glamorous parties and a jet set network which exists throughout the globe
  • Approaches by leading film and TV companies who utilise the site
  • Potential contracts from top modeling agencies who utilise the site
  • Career opportunities, through select partnerships between BeautifulPeople.com and leading businesses
