UnLoop, a temporal sci-fi puzzler, is set to launch on PC VR in early access next week. Developed by Superposition NULL and published by CM Games (known for Into the Radius), UnLoop offers a unique blend of self-cooperation and time manipulation. Players find themselves on a remote space station, the Temporal Research Hub, where they create copies of themselves and replay past actions in real-time to retrieve data. This concept is reminiscent of the puzzle game We Are One. The game is currently available on Quest and Pico, with an early access release on Steam planned for November 13th. CM Games aims to gather feedback on optimization, player experience, and graphics, with plans for a Version 1.1 update in December, introducing new puzzles and story elements. UnLoop initially supports Quest, Pico, and Valve Index headsets, with potential future compatibility expansions based on community feedback. The game received positive reviews for its clever self-co-op mechanics, though some rough edges were noted. UnLoop promises to be an engaging experience for fans of time-looping puzzles and self-orchestrated challenges, offering a fresh take on sci-fi puzzling.
