University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Reviews
Rating 3.5 out of 5 1,192 reviews
Rating 5 out of 5
My experience at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth has been positive overall. I appreciate the university's emphasis on practical, hands-on learning, which is crucial for my studies in Technology Management. The faculty are knowledgeable and approachable, offering valuable insights and support throughout my academic journey. The resources available, such as the library and online databases, have been instrumental in my research and coursework.
However, I believe there could be improvements in a few areas. For instance, I would like to see more streamlined communication between departments and students, particularly regarding administrative processes. Additionally, expanding the availability of courses in emerging technologies and sustainability would better align with current industry trends and demands.
Overall, UMass Dartmouth has provided a strong foundation for my academic and professional growth, and I look forward to continuing my studies here.

The university of Massachusetts Dartmouth is a great school with both ups and downs, the highs are Student life and the dorms. However there are also some downs those being communication from faculty to student. The student life at the university is amazing and allows students to always have something to do with their friends at any given time, weather that be going to the many on campus food options, such as Birch Grill an onsite restaurant, or the starbucks inside of the library that allows students to get a coffee and relax while studying in the library with their friends. Another thing the University does great is the dorms, the dorms are colorful, welcoming, and are clean. Unlike many other colleges this University gives clean and tidy dorms with a lot of room compared to others, again another amazing quality. This University does however fall when it comes to communication from the school to the student, when emailing anyone often they will give a condescending message.

Overall Umass Dartmouth is a good school. They work really hard on character development individually with students. They give their students the ability to voice their opinions and they try to make sure every student is heard and helped. Umass Dartmouth is very resourceful and has the best faculty that helps you in any way you need. If your looking for a college that promotes getting a job after college Umass Dartmouth is the best place to be. The career center and a lot of departments their help you start building a proper resume starting your freshman year, you learn the components of getting a good job like understanding an elevator pitch or writing the proper cover letter. I love the school and the community at the school the only thing I would change are the living situations and grove hall, more energy should extend to these to departments because they could use slight help.
