NSW Health has confirmed that the individual contracted measles, but they are yet to identify the source of the infection. The affected person visited Fresh & Hot Restaurant in Wolli Creek and several health facilities in Campbeltown and Gregory Hills between February 22nd and 25th.

Many of the exposure sites are located in Sydney's CBD and the Inner West, as well as pockets of the North Shore and Western Sydney. Symptoms include fever, sore eyes, runny nose, and cough, followed by a red, blotchy rash.
