There is no denying the fact that thegovernment has to take care of several pressing issues such as poverty, unemployment and illiteracy. This is particularly true in the case ofdeveloping countries. However, this does not mean that the government shouldnot spend money on arts.

Art represents a country and its heritage. Take, for instance, the case of India. The country is famous for its exquisitelysculpted monuments, temples and palaces. They were the handiwork of artists ofthe bygone era. Even today, the temples and monuments at Konark, Rajasthan andMadurai attract tens of thousands of local and international tourists. Theyshowcase the rich cultural history of the country and elevate its status. Ifthe kings of those times had not patronised art and artists we would not havethese monuments to show off now. Not only the monuments but other forms of artlike dance and music also need to be preserved for future generations. Otherwise,we will lose touch with our roots.

Government funding is crucial for theexistence of arts. Art itself does not generate much revenue and hence artists, especially the lesser-known ones, have to struggle to make a living. Thisdeters many of them from pursuing art as a profession. The only way to kindletheir passion is to provide them financial assistance. By doing so, thegovernment can not only protect its artists from starvation but also preservehis cultural legacy. Spending money on arts is also a way of generating moneyand creating employment. For example, if the government conducts art festivalsand exhibitions, they will attract a lot of visitors and return the investment.Such events also provide employment to a number of people. Thus, it is evidentthat spending on arts is not a waste of resources.

To conclude, it is important for thegovernment to invest in various social and economic welfare schemes. Likewise,it is equally important to invest in arts.

would you mind if you tell us about type of this question. is it an opinion question?

In today’s world by augmenting societies, running expenditures in many sections have increased and one of them is nothing but art. According to some person, it is on the shoulder of government to fund all art-related sections, whilst other are of the opinion that there are issues which are crucially important.

On one side of the argument there are people who put forward that art is one of the most efficacious part that needs more attention, not only from the perspective of spiritual, but also monetary. Advocates of this opinion believe that art industry can solve some problems of other parts, namely in the area of juvenile delinquencies or problems of addiction, and has helpful effects in this way. For instance, in the city of Min Jun, the number of devious felons was noticeable and government just via providing some documentaries about the results of crime could tackle this lawbreaking phenomenon.

On the other hand, some people argue that it is better that government spend more money on paramount issues, which respect to them art places in lower levels. Almost beyond a shadow of a doubt all stratum of people struggle with grave problems, such as medical treatment, unemployment and etc., so that for obviating them needs more attention from side of government. For example, government have to help a person who lies on the bed of a hospital and immediately needs a rare drug which is out of afford for him/her.

To recapitulate it briefly, even though art can aid to solve some social problems, but the monetary need of other sections is unforgettable. Therefore, it is of the essence that government hold them in the highest regard than art.

Q—Some people think it’s better to choose friends who always have the same opinions as them. Other people believe it’s good to have friends who sometimes disagree with them.
Discuss both views and give your opinion.

It is argued that it’s better to have friendship with those who shares same mindset. However, others believe it’s fruitful to become friends with those who sometimes make arguments. Although like-minded people shares and understand each in tough situations, people who oddly make arguments could give proper guidance and show us the real situation. In my opinion, it depends upon a person’s choice. This essay will discuss both sides with a concluding view.

On the one hand, friends who share the similar thought process tend to understand each other in extreme or tough times of their life. They can act as a family to each other as they try to mirror themselves with the same scenario. For instance, as per Harvard business Review, people who have identical mindset tend to recover faster from any kind of stress or anxiety when share their problems with one another. Thus, it is quite evident that like-minded personalities assist each other effectively during harsh times.

On the other hand, buddies who sometimes contradict your idea or thought perhaps guide and show the reality to their friend. This kind of people doesn’t support every idea or thought of their friend as they probably make a calculation whether their friend is going on a right track or not. To illustrate, In India, as per the recent survey, most of the youngsters get guidance and life lessons from their not-so-great friends if they get indulge in drug abuse and any other kind of illegal activity. Hence, it is ideal to have this kind of friend.

I personally believe that it entirely depends upon an individual’s preference whether to be friends with someone like-minded or argumentative.

In conclusion, similar-minded people builds a kind of comfort-zone for each other to display their issues as their understanding is phenomenal even during erratic times. Nevertheless, an odd friend could scold you but keep you in a right direction. It wholly upto individual what type of mate he or she welcomes in their lives.
