But instead of a peaceful retreat, they stumble upon Schmigadoon, a magical town straight out of a Golden Age musical. And the fun begins! The town's residents can't stop bursting into song, the bridge leads to nowhere, and the only way out is through true love—a quest that might bring Josh and Melissa closer or drive them apart.
The talented ensemble includes Saturday Night Live's Ana Gasteyer as Mildred Layton, the town's self-righteous busybody. Ann Harada reprises her role as the clueless but devoted Florence Menlove, while Tony Award nominee Brad Oscar takes on the role of her husband, Mayor Menlove, who has a mysterious secret and a song in his heart. Isabelle McCalla plays Emma Tate, a modern woman and teacher who feels out of place in the traditional town. Ayaan Diop, making his Broadway debut, brings laughter as the endearing young Carson.
