Remini (2024)

How is Remini different than other social media applications?

Other than Remini there are no social media applications perfect enough for capturing the memories of our little ones under one canopy. Remini makes it easy and keeps it safe. It is specifically tailored to meet the needs of parents with small children who have little time to make prints and who don’t want their child’s photograph across the internet.

Are my photos safe with Remini?

Other applications change their privacy settings often without telling you. Using Remini is as safe as using email, the path of choice for most people sharing data. The big difference is Remini keeps everything organized.

How do friends and family see images and other materials?

For others to view what parents post parents must invite them to sign up and be a ‘fan.’ When parents select an image to be seen by fans all fans can view it. Otherwise everything is private and only parents can change settings.

What if I loose my phone? Can I download my photos from Remini?

Yes. Remini operates on secure servers through cloud based services meaning your data is safe and can be accessed 24/7.

Does Remini offer any other services?

Remini is working on setting up a service allowing parents to print albums. We’ll provide more information soon.

Is Remini environmentally friendly?

Remini does not require users to print, fax, and process any information in ways which are detrimental to the environment. Part of Remini’s message includes a better world for all of us, which includes leaving few carbon footprints in it’s tracks.

Can I do a trial run and use the app with my staff?

Yes. The app is free for anyone to download.

What are the biggest benefits for teachers using Remini?

One of the biggest benefits of using Remini is that pictures can be organized through albums. That means when you need photos of kids for special school projects, holidays, or yearbooks they are easy to find. Furthermore, when teachers have more than one class or even teach in different schools images and albums can be placed in separate folders so everything is categorized and easy to find when necessary.

What if I am not technology oriented?

Because we know not everyone is tech-savvy the app’s platform is simple and eloquent. Like anything else it may take a few tries but we have seen teachers with little touch technology background pick it up easily. We are also happy to provide step by step tutorials for each action.

Do I need permission from parents to take photos of my students?

n general, if photos are for use in house the answer is no, though every institution has its own policies. Posting photographs from the classroom elsewhere is definitely an issue for many parents because parents don’t want their kid’s photos all over the web. The alternative is Remini, which is a secure space to share.
