The mother of nine-year-old identical twins who have been dubbed the 'most beautiful girls in the world' has sent fans into a frenzy after posing with her lookalike daughters.

Jaqi Clements, 37, who is based in LA and Orange County, turned her youngsters Leah Rose and Ava Marie into online sensations after setting up an Instagram account for them on their seventh birthday - and it currently has 1.8million followers.

Known as The Clements Twins, the siblings are now winning contracts with children's clothing brands and magazines after their mother asked them if they wanted to join a modelling agency.

But it's not onlyAva and Leah who are proving to be popular, with Jaqi recently praised for her resemblance to her daughters as fans suggested her youthful looks make her seem more like the twins' older sister.

In a recent photograph shared to their social media page,Ava and Leah appeared alongside their mother in pink personaliseddressing gowns.

Mother-of-three Jaqi, who also has a two-year-older aspiring-model son, has previously had to hitback at critics who've expressed negative views about her children and her parenting.

To those who think her daughters look 'sad' when they pose, she said: 'Have you met my girls? Obviously not if you are the ones making this comment.

'Although I appreciate your concern, just know my girls are fine! They are happy! They have an amazing childhood with lots of friends that they get to play with everyday!

'A single pose does not define their personality or their quality of life. They are acting... and apparently they are pretty good at it to give off the impression that they are anything but happy go lucky little girls!'

She also said that yes, the girls do wear makeup on professional shoots, adding: 'Why!? Because that’s how the industry works.'

Taking to their Instagram account over the weekend,Ava and Leah shared a snap showing them standing either side of their mother, all dressed inpink monogrammed robes

Captioning the snap, which was an advert for a brand, Jaqi wrote: 'Loving our new personalized, super SOFT & COMFY matching robes from @leolive.'

Fans were quick to share their delight over the family snap, with one writing: 'The resemblance between Ava and Mom is amazing!'

Another said: 'Look like three pretty sisters,' while a third added: 'Three amigos are beautiful and stylish.'

However, while the family receive a lot of positive attention from fans - others have lambastedJaqi for exploiting the siblings' good looks.

But the mother has insisted the twinslove modelling - and dislikes when people assume she's making a lot of money from it.

'I presented my idea to the girls that if they were up for it, in addition to their dance classes and swim team practices they had every week, they could give modeling a try,' Jaqi wrote in a 2017blogpost.

'I was not surprised at all when they started jumping up and down and couldn't wait to begin.'

She added: 'Aside from the fact that I'm a huge believer in signs and have been told by almost everyone that seven is a lucky number, I just had a feeling that this year was going to be a fun and exciting year for them.

'[One] not so amazing thing about this new life are all of the expenses associated with it! A lot of people assume parents are making money just because they see their kids working a lot. FALSE!

'I know in our case and probably in most cases the parents are putting out more money in order to support their kids,' she went on.

'But I guess if you really put it all into perspective, the money we as parents put out now to support our kids in something they love doing, will allow them to make their own money they can use towards college or a car or a house in the future. So if you think about it, it’s really not so bad after all!'

Though Ava and Leah's work involves posing for lots of photos, their mother and fatherKevin are the ones actually posting on Instagram and manning the account.

Jaqi previously said that sometimes, she will let the girls ask their fan a question or do a live video, but she is in charge of filtering the comments they hear.

Ava and Leah were signed up to be models when they were just six months old.However, they weren't really booking gigs as babies, since Jaqi had a hard time juggling that as well as raising a two-year-old son.

But within months of their Instagram going live, the twin sisters racked up over a million followers, and they've worked for brands including Nike, Disney, Mattel, and Target.

The girls still go to school, and any jobs they book are scheduled for the afternoon or the weekend so they don't miss class.

If they do have to miss some school — perhaps because they got a gig through one of their agencies, which include LA Models, Eris Talent Agency, and God & Beauty — Jaqi said there is a teacher on set.
