These are the ranks in the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Philippine National Police (PNP), and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), with their equivalents in the Armed Forces. These men and women report to the following:

  • The President of the Republic of the Philippines
    • through the office of the Secretary of the Interior and Local Government
    • the office of The Undersecretary for Public Safety, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG); and
    • the office of The Undersecretary for Peace and Order, DILG.

In the Bureau of Corrections (BUCOR), the officers and personnel report to the President through the office of the Secretary of Justice.
