What is Paper and What is It Used for?
Paper is a component needed for researching technology at the Research Desk. The Research Desk allows you to research castle structures, armor, weapons, magic, and consumables. Structures include things like different flooring patterns, castle décor and lighting, wallpaper, and windows. You can also research the Merciless Nightstalker armor set as well as the Merciless Copper weapons set. There are also magic items like chains and rings that increase Spell Power and consumables like Brew of Ferocity that increases your physical power.
Paper is also used to craft Scroll. Scrolls, like paper, are used for research via the Study. The Study has more structure options, and you can research the Merciless Hollowfang armor set, and the Merciless Iron weapons set. You can also research powerful amulets and consumables.
From Scrolls come Schematics which are used for research through the Athenaeum, which has more higher-level research options.
To craft paper, you will need a Paper Press.
How to Build a Paper Press
A Paper Press is a library workstation that allows you to take Plant Fibre and Sawdust to create paper. In order to construct a Paper Press, you will need to research it at the Study. In order to construct a Study, you will need to defeat the V Blood Boss, Nicholaus the Fallen, for the blueprint.
You will need 12 Planks and 12 Copper Ingots to build a Paper Press. After that, you will be able to make Paper, Scrolls, and Schematics.
