Frequently Asked Questions | Lucky Little Chapel Las Vegas (2024)

I WANT TO GET MARRIED. WHAT DO I DO?

First, choose a package & select the a la carte items that will make your day uniquely yours. Once you have made a 30% non-refundable deposit on your wedding with The Lucky Little Chapel, your date is secured. You can apply in person for your marriage license on the same day as your wedding- all in one trip downtown!

To apply for your license for Las Vegas Weddings, visit online to complete a pre-application and then go to the Clark County Courthouse, located across the street from the chapel. You can park in our building, walk to the courthouse, and then come back and get married. The courthouse is open 365 days per year, including holidays, from 8 AM – midnight. The cost is $102. You and your fiancée will need a photo ID, and to appear in person. To pre-apply online and save time, see the link below.

With the exception of busy days (like Valentine’s Day), this process usually takes 15 – 30 minutes. The license is good for one year. If you do not use your license within a year of purchase, you will need to go to the courthouse again to reapply. For this reason, we recommend you purchase your license on the same day as your ceremony. The Courthouse is located at 201 East Clark Avenue, in downtown Las Vegas. For more information on obtaining your license and to pre-apply, visit Clark County Marriage License Application.

The donation is in honor of the legal service they perform for you. When you check in for your ceremony, you will receive an envelope for their services. Once your ceremony is completed, you will give the envelope/donation directly to your officiant. You can pay with cash or a credit card.

Typically, your actual ceremony will be about 5-10 minutes in length. You can choose a civil ceremony (non-religious) or a Christian ceremony. If you don’t have any guests, we will happily provide a witness for you!
