While it's certainly not as cheap as some of the cars you could find in Forza Horizon 4, the Ferrari 288 GTO is quite affordable for a classic exotic. That iconic rosso corsa color just pops on this cult classic car from the 1980s.
Packed with a twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the Ferrari 288 GTO can go 0-60 mph in 5.0 seconds and has a top speed of just over 203 mph. If you want one of the most expensive cars in Forza Horizon 5 but don't have the cash for the very priciest of all, the Ferrari 288 GTO is the way to go.

Jaguar is arguably the most influential British car manufacturer and has made plenty of incredible vehicles throughout the years. One of its greatest machines was the E-Type. Based on the very successful D-Type racing car, the lightweight E-Type handles exceptionally well.
The Lightweight E-Type has a naturally-aspirated I6 engine, producing 340 bhp and 314 lb-ft of torque. That may not sound like a lot, but this is a lightweight vehicle, so it has a 0-60 mph time of just over 4 seconds. You can’t go wrong with the Jaguar Lightweight E-Type in Forza Horizon 5.

The Ford GT40 MK II is one of the best racing cars ever made, as it famously ended Ferrari’s dominance at LeMans. The GT40 MK II is a solid all-around car, which makes it great for free roaming (Forza Horizon 4 also boasted some excellent free-roaming picks).
The MK II comes equipped with a naturally-aspirated V8 engine, giving it such a nice sound when driving through a tunnel. That echo is the stuff of dreams for a car lover. The GT40 MK II may cost a whole lot of CR, but the sheer thrill of driving it is worth the money.

The Porsche 917 LH is a LeMans classic, but broke down far too often to be successful. Luckily, reliability doesn’t matter in Forza Horizon 5, so you can enjoy the 917 LH to the fullest in-game.
With a unique naturally-aspirated F12 engine capable of producing 601 bhp and 415 lb-ft of torque, the Porsche 917 LH is an absolute speed demon. It has a top speed of just over 220 mph and a 0-60 mph time of 2.4 seconds,making the 917 LH one of the best sprint race cars available in the game.

The McLaren F1 is the original hypercar and the GT variant is one of the rarest vehicles on the planet. Very few were produced by McLaren, so count yourself lucky that you’re able to drive one in Forza Horizon 5.
With exceptional handling and aerodynamics, the McLaren F1 GT puts that naturally-aspirated V12 to good use. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 226 mph. The McLaren F1 GT is a great circuit racer, but it’s going to cost you a pretty penny.

If you’re into old school racing cars, then you’re going to love the Auto Union Type D. For those unfamiliar with Auto Union, the manufacturer is the predecessor to what would become Audi. Funny enough, the car was developed by the founder of Porsche, so it has a rather confusing heritage.
When you put a twin-screw supercharged V12 engine on a small chassis like the Type D, you get a car capable of reaching a top speed of just over 228 mph. Through some tuning, this car can become one of the fastest cars in the game.

The Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa was built for LeMans and won the race three times over the span of four years. One of these classic racers sold for $12 million in real life (according to CNN Money in 2009), and it’ll cost you even more in CR to get one virtually.
The 250 Testa Rossa has a naturally-aspirated V12 producing 300 bhp and 223 lb-ft of torque. It’s capable of going 0-60 mph in just over 6 seconds and can reach a top speed of 172 mph. While that’s not particularly impressive, you have to remember that the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa is over 60 years old. It’s a racing icon.

The 250 California is one of the most recognizable Ferrari vehicles of all time. Not only is this car quick on the track, but it’s also a comfortable and luxurious ride. It’s perhaps one of the greatest grand tourers ever made.

You’re buying it to cruise along iconic routes with the top down and enjoy the beautiful scenery, the way it was meant to be used.

The Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe has to be one of the coolest cars in racing game history. Not only is it one of the best sounding vehicles ever made, it’s also one of the most beautiful. It has that classic American ‘60s racing car design and the iconic Shelby blue color with white stripes.
The Cobra Daytona Coupe has a naturally-aspirated V8 capable of producing 390 bhp, quite the little engine indeed. It may only have a top speed of just over 183 mph, but it's a true design masterpiece. The Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe is as perfect as a car can get, and its price tag (the highest in the whole game) reflects that.
