Tipping(aka Disneyland-Paris-Tips tips on Tipping)
Unlike in America where tips are part of a service employees wages, in France a 15% service charge is always included in the price you pay. Therefore tipping is not expectedat Disneyland Paris.
You can of course leave extra if you believe you have received brilliant service. (The waiters won’t think you are the scum of the earth if you don’t!)
Who should I tip?
If you choose to tip, it’s normally only in table service restaurants, or for the concierge if they bring your bags to your room.I’ve also left a small tip for waiters in the hotel bars which have table service (Hotel New York for example).
I’d like to tip, what kind of percentage is normal?
Anything more than 5-10% in restaurants is generally viewed as excessive. For the concierge, maybe €1 per bag, unless they are exceptionally heavy or unwieldy.
THIS is a particularly useful page about tipping etiquette in France in general.
Basically to sum up: Service is included, tipping is at your discretion.
