Create a SmartArt graphic from a list in PowerPoint? ›

Select your text. Select Home > Convert to SmartArt. Select More SmartArt Graphics and then select Picture. Select the SmartArt you want and select OK.

Just select your text, select Home > Convert to SmartArt, and then select the SmartArt you like. Some options also allow you to add pictures. Select Convert to Smart Art, More SmartArt Graphics, Picture, and then select the option you like.

Click where you want you insert the SmartArt. If you leave your list selected, the graphic will replace it. On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click SmartArt. Select the SmartArt you want to use and you may also change to a different design later if requited.

The layout for the SmartArt graphic controls whether there are bullets in the shape. If the layout does not have bullets, choose a different layout if you want bullets to display in your SmartArt graphic. It is not possible to change the bullet style for text in a SmartArt graphic.
