7. Disadvantages of digital cameras
There are some downsides to digital cameras such as:
- A hard disk failure (where photos have been uploaded and stored) can result in precious photos getting lost because they were never backed up or printed
- A corrupted memory card may result in lost photos.
- The battery can run out meaning that you cannot take any more photographs until it is recharged
- Much fewer images are getting printed for posterity. People tend to just keep them on their computers, mobile or camera and when these fail, those un-backed up images disappear as well.
