I ordered a part and BEFORE it shipped no longer needed it. I sent a request to cancel it which was approved. The next day, the item shipped anyway and now I need to pay $12.99 and lose the cost of shipping just to return it. Absolutely ridiculous and incredibly frustrating. So instead of getting a full refund, I get only a very small portion. I do not recommend ordering from this site.

Ordered spider headlights and they sent a different version. Some of the lights did not work when I hooked up the cables to a power source. Sent them back for a return and CARID said they showed wear ( shipping wear) in my opinion so they would not refund me. This has been going on over two months and they will not refund. I would not suggest buying from this site. Pay normal price from actual retailer and cut them out of the process. Would not recommend to anyone.

I would not recommend this place, especially if you order anything that needs to be painted. This is from the box with chips and orange peeling. They claim it's a shipping issue…I'm not sure how orange peeling happens through shipping but thats their logic. And looks like from looking at their BBB, they have a history unsatisfactory reviews and their lack of willingness to help customers. So I would highly suggest looking at other options

I ordered a pair of Braum seats from Carid. When I received them one of the seats was cut short by the top slot where the seat belt was. I tried to send it back and they flatly refused. I hired a lawyer and contacted my credit card. Resolution division. I finally settled with them but this went on for 9 months. I would never recommend doing business with these jokers. Caveat Emptor! Beware worst customer service ever. Never Again!

This has been my first time using Carid. I ordered 6 items on June 28. It is now July 31 and I have only received 2 items just within the past week. One order shipped to a completely wrong address... my invoice was correct but they shipped it 2500 miles away. I'm the only reason that the company even noticed the issue(on 1500$ rims). Things estimated to ship have never shipped. When I asked for updates no one responds. I probably wouldn't recommend this company nor use them again

I ordered a head gasket from Carid.com and they sent me the wrong item. I was not able to do the work immediately and when I opened the box and noticed that it was completely the wrong item, I was beyond the so-called "return period". I sent them an email requesting a refund and they refused. Ridiculous. This is not a question of a correct item being damaged in transit or the buyer selecting the incorrect item. When I order a part, I expect to receive the part I ordered.

Just noticed they were charging me twice $14.17 for shipping. Talked to customer service and they just tried to argue with me that I was wrong. No telling how many people they scam out of money like that. And there chat support people just close the dialog on you when you are trying to explain what is going on.
Subtotal should have been $127.75 but they kept adding the delivery to the subtotal and then charging me again.

Ordered my wheels and tires a over a month ago with a ship date of 08/13 with a lift kit and air bags (from another logistics company but thats a whole other story) to coincide with the very little time i had off work, my shipping date along with my extra rime have come and gone and cant even get a status update on my order.
I called customer servive and after waiting om hold for an hour ( my entire lunch break)was told they would send me an email with tracking numbers, it has been 2 days and still no email.
Their knowledge of Automotive parts is decent but customer service is lacking

Ordered a Gibson exhaust system on Dec 4,2022. After numerous emails and delays ordered was cancelled on Jan 27,2023. After 4 days CarID still refuses to refund my money.

Ordered an Auto Tecknic trunk spoiler with 3M tape included but not received, after I complained they removed the "included" word from website, spoiler only, they charged for shipping same as the product value and I had to pay UPS same again on delivery, from Canada you can't return without loosing the shipping and customs. After I contacted customer service few times, Mila was great helping with refund the UPS overcharge at delivery. Hopefully this is an isolated case as UPS was always great with our deliveries!

Prices are in $US no matter you chose your country currency, you find out at checkout that shipping is overpriced and UPS is overcharging again at delivery!

I bought two gas tanks for my truck, they only shipped one with both tracking numbers attached to it making both show as received. The front tank was never in stock. Strung me along for about a month always saying they were researching the missing tank. UPS indicated only one tank ever sent and Carid finally admitted it was out of stock. Never got second tank. Stay away, poor customer service, false promises, I won't buy from them again.

This company is totally a fraud! Look twice before you buy anything from it.
They sent the wrong item to me and then charge me shipping, and taxes.
The item I ordered on their website says 100% fit my car, but it actually did not fit.
This matter not only cost the laborers at the dealership but also waste my time. I would rather go to eBay or somewhere else to buy parts. Even the sellers on eBay are better than this fraud company.

I purchased both my front and back sets of brake rotors. The front set was correct but they took the longest to receive from the manufacturer, so CARiD did not send the rears until the whole order was ready. It took about 2.5 weeks to receive my rotors, and I received the WRONG rear set of brake rotors.
I contacted CARiD for a refund and was initially greeted with apologies asking for pictures of the box part # for proof before sending me a shipping label. However, I was then told that "the part # on the box doesn't exist, according to the manufacturer. You should be able to install the rotors." I clarified that I ordered the correct part # for my vehicle, and now they are claiming that no error was made on their part or the manufacturer's so they are deducting the shipping AND restocking fees from my refund.
I must also note that it is extremely suspicious that multiple different support agents are emailing me with different replies on my issue.
Complete bull$#*! customer service. I will never shop here again or suggest this place to anyone.

Don't use this site, even though the site looks nice. If you receive the wrong product, you'll have the same trouble as I am having right now trying to return it.

I use carid often and have gotten many good items from them, but if you ever get a defective item prepared to get $#*!ed on the returns. I was sent a part that, when installing it, a poorly installed bolt snapped off within seconds of beginning to screw the nut on. Horrible service, bought rims in December. It's now March and O still don't have them even though they have charged me and I have paid. Called customer service and they offered me $50 in compensation LOL

Their reply isn't even a good one. 3-4 weeks more (which is a lie) they couldn't lock in a real ETA of when they would ship. And they've been telling me 3-4 weeks for months now.
They also said they could ship the tires now (what good is that) and the rims once they arrive, which means I would have to have my shop then mount / balance / which would end up costing me more money which they also BTW wouldn't refund that portion.
Company is a straight up scam - do not order from them.

And from reading other reviews, they've done that to others. Do NOT CLOSE YOUR DISPUTE/CLAIM! If you do, you'll likely be waiting months for a refund, if you get one at all. Luckily, I consulted with PayPal prior to closing it and was advised not to do it. If you do, there's nothing PayPal can do. I was also hung up on twice, rudely, after I told them I wasn't going to close my claim. This company will try to badger you into closing your claim so they can stick you with their ridiculous refund policies and steal your money. Be careful.

Ordered tool boxes waited weeks to receive them for my work truck both of them damaged called customer service had to file a claim and wait for fedex who delivered them to come pick them up taking 3 to 5 business days and inspect before they would give me a refund so basically if u buy here be prepared to wait a month plus to receive junk and get ur money back plus whatever ur bank takes to refund customer service said it is what it is my fault for buying them wouldn't recommend this site nothing but a hassle and a dead investment

Ordered wheels back in early Dec 2022 was suppose to arrive15days max, nothing here I am in April 2023 no wheels and have had to call 3times already to figure out where my refund is, cancelled my order 9 days ago and still no refund. Bought some trim parts & they were cut wrong. Send them back & expected a refund & sent them back the way it was requested. I packed them with foam ends & even put bubble wrap and was told the product was damaged. These pieces are perfectly flat so there is no way they were damaged. Just a word to the wise, buy it Somewhere else. Look at the reviews, something I didn't do.

I'm writing before this transaction is complete so more bad stuff could happen I suppose.
I ordered on May 23, today is June 8.
During that time, I've had 3 conversations with customer service regarding shipment of this order. All three times they told me it was going out "tomorrow" but it didn't.
Today I got an email saying it would be sent out tomorrow. It's the first email they've sent.
My conclusion is that the company is untrustworthy and you can't believe what the reps tell you. I would avoid this company if you have any alternatives.
