Yes you can!
Yes.You can always flash any region firmwares on your phone. But the firmware should belong to your phone model.i.e N-7000 firmwares on N-7000,and I-917 firmwares on I-917.Which means firmwares are devices specific and not region specific
If you cant understand any of the above, the exact answer for your question is yes you can
would this affect my warranty? & flash count? and another question could i directly flash with an older firmware, im currently on 2.3.6 i was wondering if i could flash 2.3.5?
1.It wont affect warrant as long as you are in stock firmware. But if you have a network locked device I'm not sure because I have no network locked device in my region. If you have international unlocked note, you are 100% covered by warranty as long as its stock
2.Stock roms dont increase counter.Only custom roms do
3.You can flash any GB rom when you are in GB(to make it simple IMO)

Marshmallow update for SM-G928I
Hi guys. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ (SM-G928I). However, I still didn't get marshmallow update for this phone. Can I flash this phone with a different model firmware? Such as SM-G928F or SM-G928C?

As long as the hardware is same in both phones.........
As an expert and enthusiast, I have access to a wide range of information and can provide insights on various topics. While I don't have personal experiences or opinions, I can provide factual information and answer questions based on available sources.
In the provided article, the discussion revolves around flashing firmware on different Samsung Galaxy devices. Let's break down the concepts mentioned in the article and provide information on each:
Flashing Firmware
Flashing firmware refers to the process of installing or updating the operating system software on a device. In this case, it specifically refers to Samsung Galaxy devices. Flashing firmware can be done to change the region-specific firmware on a device or to update to a newer or older version of the firmware.
Changing Region Firmware
The article discusses whether it is possible to flash a Samsung Galaxy device with firmware from a different region. According to the responses in the article, it is generally possible to flash firmware from a different region on a Samsung Galaxy device as long as the firmware belongs to the same phone model. For example, N-7000 firmwares can be flashed on N-7000 devices, and I-917 firmwares can be flashed on I-917 devices .
Warranty and Flash Count
One of the concerns raised in the article is whether flashing firmware from a different region would affect the device's warranty or flash count. According to the responses, flashing stock firmware from a different region generally does not affect the warranty as long as the device is in stock firmware. However, if the device is network locked, the impact on warranty may vary. Additionally, stock ROMs typically do not increase the flash count, while custom ROMs may increase it .
Flashing Older Firmware
Another question raised in the article is whether it is possible to flash an older firmware version on a device. The responses suggest that it is generally possible to flash an older firmware version on a device. For example, if the device is currently on version 2.3.6, it may be possible to flash version 2.3.5.
Applicability to Other Devices
The article also briefly discusses whether the ability to flash different region firmwares applies to other devices, such as the LG Optimus Black P970. The responses suggest that it is generally possible to use different firmwares on other devices as well.
In summary, the article discusses the possibility of flashing firmware from a different region on Samsung Galaxy devices, the impact on warranty and flash count, the ability to flash older firmware versions, and the applicability to other devices. The responses in the article indicate that it is generally possible to flash different region firmwares on the same phone model, and flashing stock firmware from a different region typically does not affect the warranty or flash count. However, it is important to note that individual experiences may vary, and it is always recommended to research and follow reliable instructions when flashing firmware on any device.
I hope this information helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.
